Way back, last December We used one of those grey twixtmas days between Christmas and New Year to visit to the Cutty Sark at Greenwich. My memory of this ship is as a neglected shell, which I saw when I visited Greenwich with my Mum during my student days. Since then it’s undergone a thorough restoration, taking it back to the Way it looked during its heyday.
I decided to go for a slower paced form of photography for our visit, taking along my pinhole camera and a small tabletop tripod on which to mount it. I could make photographs In just a few seconds, but below deck each photograph required some more patience - for instance, the one below required an exposure time of more than a minute.
